I have a question relating to the film: the planet of the apes.?
in 2001 version. can someone explain to me the situation back on earth? i thought mark wahlberg went back to his time? how can that monkey guy be the ruler???
basically this is what i got from the film.
1. he time travels into the future.
2.lands on earth and finds apes running the show.
3. all this stuff happens
4. his chimp friend comes down.
5.apes think its god
6. thade is locked in a cage
7. everyone is happy
8.leo goes back to 2029 which is his time
9. comes back on earth
10. apes stilling runinng show.
is it just me, or does this ending seem odd.

and how can mark change history? he changed the futures history by going into the future.
Mark Wahlberg went back to his time period, but his time capsule had altered the course of history so that the monkeys were the rulers on Earth and not the humans.

he went through a worm hole in the space/time continuum…being that there are an infinite number of universes,the chances of finding a specific one are also infinite….wahlberg belongs in the monkey universe…its such a good vibration…it such a sweet sensation….
