How can I use pictures on the internet without being sued or accused of theft?
I am planning to make a poster for a scholarship. I was wondering if I could use some photos I’ve seen on the internet. Now, I don’t plan on stealing someone’s piece and use it as my own. I simply want to integrate some photos into my theme of the poster. How can I do it without being sued or accused of theft. I’ve tried to get in contact with some photographers, but I haven’t received any feedback. Any suggestions?

As long as you give them the credit for their photos you should be ok unless their site says "not for public use."
